Sessions explore stories and themes through movement and dance, supporting children to process their experiences, develop skills and friendships, and let their imaginations run wild!
Stories in Motion is an accessible creative movement session for children. It’s primarily aimed at children aged between 4 and 10, but there is flexibility to enable family groups to attend.
Sessions run in blocks of 5 weeks and we recommend attending regularly if you can but you are also welcome to come along occasionally. Parents/ carers must be present and remain responsible for their children at all times. There’ll be free refreshments for you to enjoy during the class, and/ or you can join in if you’d like to!
Elland library is a fully accessible venue and we can cater for children with and without additional needs in these sessions. As with all our sessions, Stories in Motion is pay what you can – there are lots of donation options to choose from, or come for free, no questions asked. You can choose to make a donation online or pop some cash in a pot at class instead.
Check out the video on this page to find out more about the sessions!
