A fun and informal dance class for people over 55, followed by time for a brew! Develop co-ordination, balance, and posture in this contemporary dance and ballet inspired session.

INTRODUCTION TO CONTEMPORARY DANCE

A welcoming online class, ideal for people new to contemporary dance, or dance in general. This class focuses on imagery and improvisation –  an hour of creative, expressive, mindful movement. Bliss!

One Minute Motions

ONE MINUTE MOTIONS IS NOW LIVE!

Thanks to the care and creativity of our Curious Motion family, we have launched Calderdale’s very own gallery of mindful videos, incorporating dance and movement.

Throughout September, wonderful people have submitted their one-minute film creations, supporting the mental health of others. Each piece in the gallery has a unique feel; some are relaxing, others are upbeat. Some focus on the wonder of nature; others celebrate the freedom of music and movement. Each submission is one of a kind, just like the person that made it, and we are thrilled to be able to share it with you.

FREE VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS FOR SCHOOLS IN CALDERDALE

Supporting the resilience and wellbeing of children and young people in Calderdale through dance and creativity. 

Join our brilliant dance artists, Matt and Jess, for some seriously fun and creative virtual sessions that support children and young people with their learning and wellbeing, particularly around mental health, mobility and physical health, and connecting to others.
