Dance for Wellbeing CC4Us

We are a service provider for Calderdale Cares 4 Us (CC4Us), a project hosted by local mental health charity Healthy Minds, to help look after the public and voluntary sector workers who have been supporting and caring for all of us throughout the pandemic.

Our Dance for Wellbeing classes involve exploring a range of accessible dance sequences to a variety of music, cultivating a shared sense of fun, relaxation and achievement.

Hello from Matt:

How do I book?

These classes are free for public and voluntary sector workers! Booking can be made via the Calderdale Cares 4 Us booking system.

You can book for single sessions or the whole block, it’s up to you!

What do I need?

Wear some comfy clothes and bring some water with you.

We recommend bare feet or socks that aren’t slippy, but light trainers or plimsoles are ok too.

For online sessions please make sure your device has a working camera and your camera is on throughout the class – it’s important we can see you for safety reasons.

For in-person classes, please wear a face covering when moving around the building. You don’t have to wear a face covering when dancing but you are welcome to if you would prefer. We will also be practicing social distancing throughout. Please make sure you have taken a Lateral Flow Test before coming to the session, ideally on the same day and as close to the time of the class as possible.
